  • promote Williamsville District to attract shops and services for the daily needs of residents to improve quality of life
  • support for local business and entrepreneurs so our city can thrive
  • encourage business growth and public transportation where there is intensification
  • assist local business to become more sustainable
  • develop the green economic sector to attract green industry

BALANCED Approach to our Housing Needs

  • make sure low to mid-income demographic is not forgotten by ensuring a wide range of housing that is affordable for every income level
  • explore various models such as mixed low income, geared to income, and market rent model, as well as co-op and supportive housing.
  • insist new developments use the latest in green technology to reduce our carbon footprint
  • proactively nurture town-gown relations, advocating for safe housing, safe streets, and accessible public transportation

SAFE and HEALTHY Neighbourhoods

  • preserve and improve green spaces
  • ensure maintenance of road, biking, and walking infrastructure
  • advocate for traffic calming measures to increase pedestrian safety.
  • foster healthy cities, including addressing mental and physical health, accessibility issues, senior services, and attracting much needed family doctors
  • increase our tree canopy
  • support for more community gardens
